This is incredibly ambiguous and vague and serves virtually no purpose. Connect in what way? Specificy, please. I mean, really, you're trying to start a stan war with this pathetic shade?

Britney. It's a foregone conclusion that the public doesn't like Gaga - they haven't since Telephone.

Britney Spears. Lady Gaga's recent music is too dark for people - they prefer fun music most of the times, so Britney wins here.

Britney, Gaga makes little connection with the general public, which, oddly, gives her the popularity she has.

Obviously Britney, however people seem to be more interested in Gaga at the moment.

Britney. Even in her shy, introverted state I think people can connect more with her. That all comes down to her image. She always was presented as being the ingenue like girl next door. I think that's why she was forgiven after her breakdown and is still seen as a sympathetic figure. Even though she has a lot of people who hate her, there are still a lot of people who love her. Gaga is too cold and mechanical to fall in love with to be honest.

Neither. To them Gaga is a try-hard weirdo and Britney a past-her-prime hasbeen.

Even though Gaga is bigger at the moment, I don't feel that she's connected with the general public like Britney is. Mainly to her fans.

Britney I guess? She's not open with her personal life so I don't know what people can really connect to but GaGa is so controversial that a lot of people don't like her.

As far as I can see, the general public connects well enough with Britney Spears to no longer keep up with her celebrity news, search for her on search engines, buy her music or even realize she has a new album out. She is virtually never seen in public and no one outside of pop music forums even realizes she's getting married. When anyone mentions her name, people think of her breakdown and no one wants to relate to that.

She's the most caring, sensitive, compassionate and understanding woman ever. Cold and mechanical? I think a lot of people see her as ridiculous or absurd, sure, but the general public recognizes her humanitarian efforts. Everybody I know acknowledges her for being sincere with her message of love and acceptance.

Sort of true, but not everyone thinks that way about Britney. I've notice this year she has been getting a lot of good feedback from the general public, and only a few insult her.

Exactly. I know absolutely nobody who sees her as cold and mechanical. People love her spirit.
