"Black & Yellow" tops the Hot 100, displaces "Grenade"
Wiz Khalifa's debut Hot 100 smash 'Black & Yellow' zooms from #4 to #1, making its debut appearance at the summit of the Hot 100. It displaces Bruno Mars sophomore solo smash 'Grenade', which slips one position to #2 after 4 weeks on top.
Another hip-hop song that made noise this week was Dr. Dre's collaboration with Eminem & newcomer Skylar Grey, 'I Need a Doctor', which debuts nicely at #5. It is Eminem's third Top 10 hit in the past year, & Skylar's first under her new alias (having previously been in the Top 10 under the name Holly Brooks with Fort Minor's 'Where'd You Go?' in 2006).
Elsewhere, Katy Perry holds strong at #3 with her third Hot 100 topper in a row 'Firework', P!nk's '****in' Perfect' slips from #2 to #4 after blasting into the Top 10 last week, Enrique Iglesias's collaboration with Ludacris & DJ Frank E 'Tonight (I'm Lovin' You)' falls one rung out of the Top 5 to #6, Far East Movement & Ryan Tedder's 'Rocketeer' jumps two positions & reaches a new peak of #7, Rihanna & Drake's 'What's My Name?' falls two to #8, Pitbull & T-Pain's 'Hey Baby (Drop It to the Floor)' also slips two to #9, & Britney Spears's 'Hold It Against Me' makes an identical two-spot drop to #10.
