Excuse you? This movie is pure awesome, and John Cusack gave a great performance. The sequences were creepy and entertaining. It was not like anything we've seen in regular horror movies so I don't know what you are talking about. The whole water coming out of the painting, or a scene when he try to escape the hotel room through another window were great. The only thing I don't like about 1408 is that Samuel L. Jackson was in the movie for like 15 minutes, otherwise this movie is great.

what was creepy, or even remotely entertaining about this garbage? Sequences? The majority of them were unneeded, and drug out the movie unnesessarily. Seriously, there were thousands of places that this movie could have ended but it NEVER DID. And when it finally happened, you were left... disappointed (for lack of better words).
