Welcome to the Fifth Annual Lambily Awards! This year, we have a lot to celebrate as Lambs; the release of a new greatest hits album, a successful Vegas residency, another acclaimed run of holiday shows at the Beacon Theatre…. But for as much as we celebrate Mariah, we so rarely take the time to celebrate the Lambily. Thus, the Lambily Awards were created to celebrate the dedicated Lambs who flock to ATRL in order to commend, criticize, and converse about the incomparable Mariah Carey.
Because this is the 5th year that we’ve hosted the Lambily Awards here on ATRL, this year’s show will have a special theme in honor of Mariah’s 5th studio album: Daydream. If you’re a fan of the Daydream era, stay tuned for special Daydream-related bonus content!
THE NOMINATIONS
In previous years, the host of the Lambily Awards worked with a secret panel to decide the nominations. This year, the power is in YOUR hands! All members listed under "The Contenders" below are invited to PM me their nominations in each category. Feel free to send anywhere from 1-5 nominations per category. Once I have the nominees from y'all, I will confer with my esteemed panel just to fill in any gaps. Nominations are due January 3rd at midnight EST. Feel free to campaign in this thread (for both nominations and awards); statistics prove that campaigning leads to success at the Lambily Awards!
