Incredibly executed and perfectly performed. It's clear she put more hard work into this than anyone ever has for a VMA performance and for that alone it should be seen as the best in VMA history. I understand people saying it's boring, especially anyone under 20 years old. Things move much faster in music today and kids attention spans are getting much shorter. If her performance was a medley of dance-pop songs, then no one would be saying it was boring, even if it was very badly executed. As Beyoncé says, "Radio say speed it up, I just go slower". She will continue to make the music she loves and those who understand the vision will appreciate it, no matter the time they grew up in.
