Talk about a special delivery! Remember about a week ago, when the Spice Girls were irrelevant? Good times.
Okeey, so biggest and best-selling girl group of all-time, one of the few media phenomena of the past two decades, and all that jazz. I could sit here and write out an astute and incredibly heartfelt intro as to why the Spice Girls' musical catalog has always been dreadfully unappreciated or groan about the illusory stamps placed on their music, where fun and jovial is often confused for contrived and juvenile. Honestly, I'd just be content in knowing that folks are willing to participate.
Soooo, here's how this is gonna go down. Usually Ace only endorses singles discogiraffes, but when taking into consideration the Spice Girls' reign at the top, in addition to the number of singles they'd managed to release, an 12-track rate seems a bit foolish, no? And as Ace so eloquently put it, the Spice Girls were "TOO huge". So here we are: a full catalog rate; complete with album tracks, B-sides, hidden tracks --- the whole nine.
So, yeah. Deadline is September 10th (extended to the 17th), so have at it. Rates should include scores between 0 (ranked for the lowest) and 10 (for timeless classic) and sent to me via PM before the deadline.
Lastly, learn to have fun with music for once.
Oh, and you can kindly thank honorary Spice Boy Ducaguilera for the gorgeous banner.
