She was part of one of the greatest girl groups of all time. She's slayed the UK as a solo artist. She got the US X-Factor gig. She's an incredible performer and has the beauty to rival APHRODITE.
I think it's just a matter of time before she takes the states by storm.
Good luck to her! It's not easy to break into the US masses. However, British and American people tend to have similar taste in music, so I think she'll be successful.
This bitch sucks, along with that atrocious girl group she came from. There's a reason they never made it anywhere outside the UK.
She's the new Nicole Scherzinger.
You say that like it's a bad thing. And the fact that you're shading Girls Aloud simply evidences your obviously questionable (deplorable) taste. NEXT.
And whoever shades Girls Aloud needs to get into "Call The Shots". That song renders careers irrelevant
Preach, preacher! And then they can follow it up with Sexy... No, No, No, The Promise, Biology, Deadlines & Diets, Can't Speak French, Something Kinda Ooh, A Whole Lotta History, Love Machine, Girl Overboard...
...Sorry, I got distracted by all of the AMAZING TRACKS THEY'VE RECORDED.
Girls Aloud are a good girl group. Cheryl is a minor part of that girl group. Honestly, if it wasn't for Nadine, Girls Aloud couldn't exist.
Cheryl herself will not crack the US. At least not long-term. She will have a throwaway hit - her XFUSA position has guaranteed that. She hasn't slayed the UK as a solo artist. She has had less success in the UK than Adele, Duffy, Leona Lewis, even Alexandra Burke. Immensely overrated. I love her music, by the way, but I can't stand her attitude and her performances are just awful.
fight for this love, Promise this need or a entirely new single need to be released as the first single, and I dont think they're stupid enough to release the flood as a single

Are we watching the same performances??
But yes, Nadine is incredible. Her solo stuff is really great - it's unfortunate that she flopped worse than a 500 lb heffer jumping off a high dive.

I agree about The Flood, even though I love the song. It's a good ballad, but ballads hardly ever make anyone stars unless they're really, really good. She should have released Didn't I, a B-side to Fight for This Love. It's awesome, and makes the most of her admittedly limited vocal range.
She needs a remix of Promise This or Fight. Something similar to that sound that can be emphasized by killer choreography.

The performances I am watching involve her miming badly and dancing less technical, challenging and impressive routines than those of, for example, Britney, Beyonce and Lady GaGa. They involve Simon Cowell praising her as if her performance could be classed on the same level as those three or indeed other contempories such as Rihanna and Katy Perry.
Beyonce is NOT a technical dancer. And Lady GaGa's dancing skills are marginal; even she's admitted this.
And about this miming ridiculousness. The only artist who can dance AND sing at the same time is Beyonce. Lady GaGa tries, but when she does, her beautiful vocals suffer. Britney certainly can't - she's mimed her way thru plenty of performances ... and there's nothing wrong with that when you can move and energize the audience the way she, Cheryl, Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Scherzinger, etc. can.
And sorry, but Cheryl's dancing skills >>>>>>>>>> Rihanna's and Katy Perry's. They're not even in the same league. Neither one can command the stage with their movements and athleticism the way Cheryl does (i.e. the Fight for This Love performance from the Brit awards). They both rely on other gimmicks.
