In addition to having November 5 named "Britney Spears Day" in Las Vegas and receiving the key to the city, Britney also holds the record for best first week album sales for a female artist. Her 2000 album "Oops!... I Did It Again” was nearly beaten by Taylor Swift's "1989" this week.
Britney said of her own record, "I had no idea that that was even the case so that's really cool. It's really phenomenal. I'll just have to toot my own horn."
That's why I love her.
