So, is it just me or has this bitch improved tremendously in the vocal department, since the loud era already? I mean i was impressed when i heard the vocals on WFL but in POC she sounds beyond amazing and holds her own against Chris Martin

Also, i feel the fact, that she releases music so often is helping her, with a new era comes more performances, tour etc and therefore will have more opportunities to sharpen her vocal skills.

I'm more impressed with the versatility of her voice. I've always considered Rihanna one of the most versatile singers when it comes to the tone of her voice. You can literally put her voice on just about any genre of music and it fits in seamlessly. We've seen her do pop/pop rock/alternative/R&B/Reggae/Hip Hop/Dance/and even a little bit of Country with California Kind Bed. All the while, she's able to hold on to the distinctiveness of her voice so that the casual listener still recognizes it's Rihanna there listening to. Impressive indeed!

Her vocals have improved live. But we have yet to hear We Found Love live. Rihanna mostly sounds nice on cd but sometimes her vocals live are a mess.

She's mediocre, but she's not the worst.

Her singing voice is very average.....The only thing that set Rihanna apart is her accent.
