Pathetic how desperate and easily appeased you all are. If you watched the interview, he said he hadn't even heard of the widespread incidents, then denied that they were being done by his supporters - suggesting most were made up. Then when pushed harder by the interviewer, he finally said "alright, they should stop, okay?" Like a student being forced to apologize by his teacher. There was no genuine anguish that hate crimes are being committed in his name or remorse that his words inspired them. A true leader, deserving of the most powerful position in the world, would have said "There is no excuse to ever attack or harm people because of their race or religion, and I am horrified that some people are using me to justify it. People of color, Muslims and immigrants are part of the fabric of this nation and I will protect them as president."
