HI! I'm complexion. You may or may not know me, I'm sort of new here despite my join date being over a year ago. I've been working on it for about 6 months, but it's not like I was doing it all day every day. Just a little here and a little there. It could've been much faster but I have other priorities too. The stale "Go outside" or "this is how you spend your time?
" are inevitable so I'm prepared for them, even when some of you have amassed tens of thousands of posts on here in a matter of months sooooo I say we're even. Also, being a statistics major, this is a great and entertaining way for me to practice for my final which is somewhat similar to this. I hope, as well, that it wasn't time wasted and that this information helps you better understand the public reception of your fave. You guys are who I'm REALLY doing this for.
Now, on to the survey. Obviously there would be no surefire way to see what the public REALLLY thinks about our faves, unless we could of course survey every living non-stan in the world. That's just not plausible. However, using a program called Tinker Plots (as well as another program called JMP), we can generalize whatt those millions of people would be most likely to say (This is kind of lenghty explanation so PM me if you really want to know how it works). These programs only works accurately though if your sample size is big enough. To make sure it was accurate, I had to get the survey out too as many people as possible. Over 1500 people of varying ages, races, and religious affiliations to avoid bias. (A good chunk of them were from my local university (but not more than half...like I said I want to avoid bias)..Like I said, this is not an exact science nor is it fact. But it's about as close we can get.
We will test what they really know about our faves, what they think of our faves, our faves signature hits, among other things. (perhaps even a question or two about Nick
). I'm sorry if your fave isn't included, but like I said it does take a lot of time so I had to limit the in depth analyses to ten. Maybe I'll do another with more of the minor girls or different questions. Let me Know
