Sorry, I've been SO busy over the past few days. I planned on during this Tuesday, but a lot of things happen. Anyway, I'm starting a new thread on the 2005-2006 Ratings season. I don't think I'm mod here anymore, so could somebody sticky this one and get rid of the old one. I'll see if I can do it, but I don't know.
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH
CBS's comedy hours makes it big for the eye network, but ABC comes out on top with a double-header football, and NBC scores big with new Monday line up, but it was FOX who hurt the most post "24"
ABC was the big winner of the first night of the new TV season, as two Monday Night Football games lined up their network schedule. "New Orleans Saints VS. New York Giants had 16.0 million viewers. Though the 9PM game "Washington Redskins VS. Dallas Cowboys could not top that, they tried with 15.0 million viewers. In total, ABC had 16.6 million viewers.
CBS was up next with their all new comedy line up of "The King Of Queens", "How I Met Your Mother", "Two and a Half Men", and "Out of Practice". "Practice" was the big winner with 14.0 million viewers. "Men's" newtime slot, didn't help nor hurt the #1 comedy, which still did well at 13.9 million. "CSI: Miami" closed out the night with 17.1 million.
NBC did well as it could with the new "Surface" (11.1 million), "Las Vegas" (up 30% from last year), and "Medium". This gave NBC third place.
FOX took a huge blow compared to last year's "24". "Arrested Development", and "Kitchen Confidental" did not-so well. "Kitchen" ended up with 2.4 million, expecting it to be the first to be canned. "Prison Break" held on with 10.1 million.
UPN kept same old, same old going with their regular monday-night line up and only 2.6 million. WB did top them with "7th Heaven", and "Just Legal"
**I will be back tonight to do Tuesday and Wednesday's line-up. Do have to leave now**

It's actually up a bit from last year, and did pretty well last Thursday with 6.4 million. Reunion is helping it too.
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH
ABC geared up for a huge win, but got a big down-fall with the summer's hottest show. NBC dominated the top spot with breakout hits, and CBS said goodbye to their summer in a modest way.
NBC ruled the place with 12.9 million viewers with "The Biggest Loser" (10.3 million), "The Office" (10.8 million), and their new huge hit "My Name Is Earl" (14.3 million). "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" closed out this huge night for NBC with 15.8 million.
FOX and CBS tied for second. FOX's new hit line up with "Bones" and "House" went for 12.6 million, and CBS had their season finales of "Big Brother 6" (10.6 million) and "Rock Stars: INXS" (9.1 million), also the season premiere of "NCIS", which is down 20% from last season.
ABC did fall for forth, in which they thought would be their biggest night yet. "According To Jim" opened with only 8.4 million, down 21% from last year. "Dancing With The Stars: Dance Off" only went for 11.5 million. Though it seems to be a lot, this summer 'Stars' recieved over 20 million viewers for it's season finale. "Wife Swap" closed out the night with 10.1 million.
On the netlets were WB and UPN. WB beat UPN with "Gilmore Girls" and the new hit "Supernatural". "America's Next Top Model" and "R U The Girl With T-Boz & Chilli" on UPN went for last place.

Wednesday, September 21st
Lost came back, stronger then ever. The newest Apprentice fell flat, and CBS wasn't ready just yet for the new time.
ABC won with the monster season premiere of "Lost" (23.1 million). Even "Destination Lost" did very well with 14.2 million. The new show "Invasion" got helped with Lost with 15.5 million. This is up 300% from last year's ("The Bachelor/Wife Swap") line up.
NBC took second with "The Apprentice: Martha" (7.4 million), "E-Ring" (8.3 million), and "Law and Order" (14.1 million)
CBS went for third with "Still Standing", "Yes, Dear", and repeats of "CSI" with 12.4 million.
FOX and UPN tied. FOX's line up was "So You Think You Can Dance" and "Head Cases" (down 47% from last week). UPN got the same numbers with "America's Next Top Model", with 6.1 million
WB ended the night with repeats (please, get over repeats) of "One Tree Hill", and "Just Legal" with 1.0 million.

In all seriousness...
Surface > Invasion >>> Lost
Lost is just too geeky for me. You can interpret anyway you want to but the point is I just don't think it's all that great. I'm also slighty annoyed by it's internet-fiend fanbase.
Anyway, much love to the following new favorites of mine:
Surface
How I Met Your Mother
Prison Break
My Name Is Earl
Everybody Hates Chris
Love Inc.
Reunion
Twins
Returning favorites are the following:
Medium
America's Next To Model
Family Guy
Desperate Housewives (what ?)
Grey's Anatomy

Isn't 17.9 pretty huge? Like between 25-30 million?
How is 'My War At Home' faring? I love that show.

I'm so sorry, you guys I havent updated since last week. I've been very sick, really busy. I have barely engery to do anything! Let's just do a run down --
THURSDAY
CBS won without a doubt. "Survivor", "CSI", and even the debut of "Criminal Minds" was huge. This gave CBS 19.3 average. CSI was down 7%, but never the less.
NBC actually went for second place. "Joey" gave out 8 million, "The Apprentice" had 9 million. "ER" had 12.3 million. "Joey" is down 52% from last year's premire. "The Apprentice" is down 32%, and ER is down 28%
ABC was third with "Dancing With The Stars" encore and results show. DWTS gave out 14.1 million. "Primetime" went for 10.5 million. FOX was fourth with "The OC", and "Reunion". Reunion is down 16% from it's premiere two weeks ago.
UPN came close with 6.0 million. "Everybody Hates Chris" is the biggest opening for a show, espcially a comedy for UPN in YEARS. EHC opened with 7.6 million. "Love INC", "Eve", and "Cuts" did 50% less than what "Chris" did.
Closing out the night with the WB. "Smallville", "Twins" with 1.8 million.
FRIDAY
Friday's are medicore.
CBS's "Ghost Whisperer" did 20% more of that Joan of Arcadia. 12.4 million. Also "Numb3rs" and "Threshold" gave CBS the average of 13.7 million. ABC gave out less than what they did one year ago with their TGIF line up. Two hours of "Supernanny" only gave ABC up 6.7 million, with the help of "20/20", ABC had 8.7
NBC is down a whole lot. "Dateline NBC", "Three Wishes", and "Inconceivable" was their line up. I don't have the exact numbers of what NBC did, but it's down 24% from last years line up.
FOX's slowly but surely dying "The Bernie Mac Show" and "Killer Instint" was fourth place. Bernie is down 50% and I'm pretty sure this is the last year of that. UPN almost tied with "WWE Friday Night Smackdown". WB closed out the night with "What I Like About You", "Twins", "Reba", and "Living With Fran" in all of 2.8 million.
SUNDAY
Monster hit for ABC. "Desperate Housewives" had 28 million. Also, "Grey's Anatomy", and "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" had ABC win the night with a huge victory of 16.3 million!!!
Housewives is up 27% from last year's first episode. "Anatomy" is down from it's usual numbers, but up in "Boston Legal's" time slot last year.
CBS went for second place. "NFL Overrun", and "60 Minutes", "Cold Case", and "Martha Behind Bars" placed them with 13.2 million. "Cold Case" is down 20% from last year.
NBC was third with "Dateline NBC", "The West Wing", "Law & Order: CI", and "Crossing Jordan" and 12.6 million. "Wing" is ratings is down from 22% from last year's time slot, with "American Dreams". "CI" is down 30% and "Jordan" is down 19%. "Wings" last year premire is down 40%
FOX was fourth (8.8 million) with "The Simpsons", "King of the Hill", "The Simpsons", "The War At Home", "Family Guy", and "American Dad"
WB closed out the night with "Reba", "Charmed", and "Blue Collar TV" with 1.9 million.
MONDAY
Good for ABC, won the night with "Wife Swap" (Up, HUGELY from last year's Wednesday time slot!), and "NFL Football: Chiefs VS. Broncos" with 13.0 million. CBS was close, extremely with "The King Of Queens", "How I Met Your Mother", "Two and a Half Men", and "Out of Practice". Also a new "CSI: Miami". "Mother" is only down 5% from last week. "Practice" is down 15%.
NBC went for 12.6 million with "Surface", "Las Vegas", and "Medium". . Surface is down 14%
FOX is down -- and it's not good. "Arrested Development", "Kitchen Confidental", and "Prison Break". All shows are completely down.
Netlets - "7th Heaven", "Just Legal" went for 3.4 million. UPN's "One On One", "All of Us", "Girlfriends", and "Half and Half" went for 2.4 million

TUESDAY
CBS won for the night, but "The Amazing Race" is off by 20% from last season's edition with 14.0 million. I guess the family edition doesn't help. "NCIS" was it's lead in. This gave CBS the win with 14.7 million.
NBC kept their hit night going (14.1 million) with "The Biggest Loser", "My Name Is Earl", "The Office", and "Law & Order: SVU". "Office" is down 16% from last week's opener. "SVU" is down still, 3% from last season, to last week.
FOX had about 9 million on their plate, with their hit line up of "Bones" and "House". 'House' IS down much, but not having 'Idol' has it's lead in, probably did cause that. ABC was above FOX with 12.2 million. "According To Jim" started off the night with 8 million. "Commander In Chief" gave out 16.9 million viewers, the biggest opener on Tuesday nights in over 5 years. "Boston Legal" went for 12.6 million. It is down 32% from last year's opener on Sunday nights.
On The WB, "Gilmore Girls" and "Supernatural" gave out 4.4 million. UPN was crushed with "America's Next Top Model", and "Sex Love and Secrets" with 1.5 million. Sad, because "Secrets" is such a great show, I recommend it to all who enjoy soapydramas, such as Melrose Place, and even much like 'Desperate Housewives' with the voice-overs and great storylines.

WEDNESDAY
ABC won Wednesday with a repeat of "Lost" and the brand new episode of "Lost" (20.4 million, though down 8% from last week, still most watched show of the night. "Invasion" ended the night with 15.0 million, down 23% across the boards. ABC gained 14.6 million.
CBS was second place with "Still Standing", "Yes, Dear", "Criminal Minds", and "CSI: NY" with 12.1 million. "NY" is down 30% from last year, and "Criminal Minds" is down hugely from last Thursday night's premiere.
NBC was 8 for 8 with 8.5 million. "The Apprentice: Martha Stewart", "E-Ring", and "Law and Order" NBC's Wednesday night schedule is a mess and a bomb. Though quality wise, 'Martha' is a great reality show, it's down 18% from last week, and E-Ring down 15%. NBC plans on moving "Martha" to 9PM and "E-Ring" to 8PM beginning next week.
FOX came close with 6.5 million with "Nanny 911" and "So You Think You Can Dance". UPN topped WB with "Veronica Mars" and "America's Next Top Model" with 3.0 million, and WB closed out the night with "One Tree Hill" repeats.
THURSDAY
CBS topped Thursday nights with it's unstoppable line up of "Survivor", "CSI" and "Without A Trace" with 19.8 million. 'Trace' is up 2% from last year.
NBC was a disant 2nd with 11.4 million with "Joey", "Will and Grace", "The Apprentice", and "ER". Dispite a live show, 'Grace' is down 35% (thank god for NBC, this is it's last season), also 'Apprentice' and 'ER' are all down.
FOX went for 3rd with "The OC" and "Reunion" with 7.6 million. ABC was a short 4th with it's premiere of "Alias" and "The Night Stalker" with 6.6 million. ABC really learns from mistakes truely. This was a night of bombs, even for the final season premiere of 'Alias', down 50% from January's return. It's even down 14% from last year's "Extreme Makeover". ABC rounded out their night with "Primetime"
UPN and WB battled it out, and WB won with "Smallville" and "Everwood" with 3.0 million. UPN ended the night with 2.4 million with "Everybody Hates Chris", "Love, INC.", "Eve" and "Cuts"
FRIDAY
CBS won a sad race with "Ghost Whisperer", "Thresold", and "Numb3rs". 'Ghost' is down 10%, but both 'Thresold' and 'Numb3rs' are up. They ended their night with 12.4 million.
ABC went for second with 8.1 million with "Supernanny" and "Hope and Faith". Hope and Faith is down 16% from last year (But IMO, much better than last year's premiere). UPN was right behind ABC with "WWE Friday Night Smackdown!" with 6.7 million.
Greatly rewarding for fans of last year's NBC line up of "Medicial Investigation" and "Third Watch" that the NBC line up is fading fast with "Dateline NBC", "Three Wishes", and "Inconceivable" with 5.1 million (!) Save 'em fast, NBC.
FOX served up "The Bernie Mac Show", "Malcolm In The Middle", and "Killer Instinct" with 2.8 million. Rounding out the night were "What I Like About You", "Twins", "Reba", and "Living With Fran" with 1.7 million.

Yes, down 10% is pretty big, but it's not enough to yank it from Friday nights. CBS has been dead for awhile in the Friday's. The cancellations of "JAG" and "Joan of Arcadia" have hurt them, not helped them, but this isn't a big night, CBS can easilly win now that ABC has folded on it's TGIF line up (at least til January 2006), and NBC is in huge trouble (just pulled Inconvieable from it's lineup this morning, and Three Wishes is probably next.)
SUNDAY
ABC dominated Sunday nights once again with it's "America's Favorite Night on Television" promo. "America's Funniest Home Videos" returned with 10.1 million, followed by "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" (13.5 million), "Desperate Housewives" (20.9 million), and "Grey's Anatomy" (16.8 million)
CBS was next with 14.9 million and "60 Minutes", "Cold Case", and "Mayday". NBC went for 11.5 million with "Dateline NBC", "The West Wing", "Law & Order: Criminal Intent", and "Crossing Jordan" (All shows, are down much from last year, looking as if 'Wing''s final season will be here on Sunday's night, as it only brought in 8.0 million)
FOX was a close fourth with "NFL Overrun", "The Simpsons", "The War at Home", "Family Guy", and "American Dad" with 10.2 million. Rounding out Sunday night were repeats of "Reba", "Blue Collar TV", and all new "Charmed" with 2.8 million.
MONDAY
CBS and ABC went head for head last night, but CBS pulled it out with 14.2 million with "The King of Queens", "How I Met Your Mother", "Two and a Half Men", "Out of Practice", and "CSI: Miami". The only one that has went down dramatially is 'Mother', but CBS has hyped it so much, I doubt they will fold on it just now. ABC was at 14.1 million with "Wife Swap", and "Monday Night Football (Packers VS. Panthers")
NBC went for 12.8 million with the declining "Surface", "Las Vegas", and "Medium". Over at FOX, the struggling hour of "Arrested Development", "Kitchen Confidential" kept FOX only at 8.2 million. "Prison Break" helped out however (9.6 million)
WB beat out UPN with 2.3 million and "7th Heaven", and "Just Legal". UPN closed the night with "One on One", "All of Us", "Girlfriends", and "Half and Half"
