Rihanna's 99 Cent Deal: Why Does No One Mention It?
http://www.islanddefjam.com/artist/n...&artistID=7366
Lady Gaga had an Amazon 99 Cent deal for one day, and as recent as
today
, individuals are still making fun of her for the deal saying it was unfair.
However, as seen above, Rihanna had the same deal, for not one, but three days during her opening week.
So why does no one ever mention Rihanna, when she had the same deal for a larger amount of time? Is it unfair to Gaga?
Discuss.

Because she flopped with it. So no one felt the need to bring it up or drag her since she wasn't successful

Because it didn't sell 1m+ in the one week & wasn't for her opening week(? i think?) .
Good to see that Rihanna & this deal (which happened 5 years ago) still stays on your mind

Things only become "unfair" when Gaga starts doing them

The fact I'd never heard of this before
I guess because with Gaga it looked more like an attempt to get to 1 million whilst with Rihanna it was just a discount, albeit a rather large one.
No shade btw, I love them both.

Because Gaga sold so much and opened with over 1 million. Also people seem to forget that Amazon payed full price for BTW before discounting it.

Because nobody pays attention to her albums. They're always a non-event.
She's a "first and second single" kinda girl.

That's not Gaga's fault though.
