Break out the blue!
Expecting her first child, Hilary Duff is having a son, she announced during a Friday appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
"I haven't told anyone yet. I wanted to tell you first. I just found out," the singer-actress, 24, told Ellen DeGeneres. "It's a boy! I had a feeling it was a boy the whole time."
During the chat, the former Lizzie McGuire star confided that she's "a little over four months" along; the dad is her husband of over one year, NHL player Mike Comrie.
Luckily, Duff hasn't suffered any morning sickness or odd cravings. "I feel great, actually. It's been super easy."
The experience, she said, is "kind of like a little alien has taken over your body. You just don't quite feel normal. But it's cool."
When the star first discovered her pregnancy, hubby Comrie, 30, was skeptical. "My husband makes this joke that I think I'm pregnant like 12 times a year," Duff explained.
As it turns out, the first-time dad-to-be was completely in the buff when Duff shared her news. "So when it actually happened he was in the shower," she revealed. "I just ran in and he was in the shower and I just held up the test and I was like, 'Oh my god.'"
She continued of the touching, naked moment: "And he was like, 'AHH!' He was soaking wet. We were just like a mess and started crying. It was really exciting!"
