The NBA has named Richard Parsons the interim chief executive officer of the Los Angeles Clippers.
Parsons, the former chairman of Citigroup and former chairman and CEO of Time Warner, will oversee the day-to-day operations for the team. Parsons will fill in for former team president Andy Roeser. The NBA said Roeser would be taking an indefinite leave of absence.
Can't tell if him being black was a coincidence (because based on that blurb he's obviously totally qualified and it seems like a downgrade...Time Warner to a basketball team?) or a PR move.
