Preference: One bad era for your fave or always middling?
Would you rather your fave gets one
extreme
flop era that damages ha career
forever
, but have a bunch of other smash eras beforehand...
or have ha never reach #1 status, but go through a bunch of OK eras (but at the same time never flop)?

I'd rather just have good quality music. Charts mean nothing. 10 years from now the music will speak more than peak positions.

I could care less if she would have become a flop I just wish she was alive still making music.
