No, her Global appeal is incredibly overrated. She's sold 37 million albums and only has 8 top ten hits according to Mediatraffic.
I'd give it to Gaga or Britney.

I don't know how she fares in Asia and UK, but she does okay in the US and DOMINATES in Spanish speaking countries
She's probably more global than Katy, Ke$ha, and the Disney girls. I'm not sure about Britney, Bey, Gaga, and Rih though

Yes. I forgot about her, but since it's just common sense about her. Let's not include her.

No.
She is completely irrelevant in THREE continents. How can she?
You guys really need to stop exaggerating how global she is. Seriously.

mediatraffic doesn't count OUTSIDE the top 40 or pre-2000 latin countries...where she sold the most, bye

although gaga right now is a trend...so as any trend she can be #1 right now... who knows in 15 years+ of career like Madonna and Shakira.

Not doubling her figures.
MediaTraffic isn't the source for the 37 million.

People can't compare with other artists who only have 4-5 years of career with Shakira who has 15..and is still relevant...Shakira 2002 slays everyone globally.
So it isn't fair to compare like that.
