Well, Rihanna. J-Lo 7 years in her career she was rather irrelevant and had mega-flop Brave under her belt by then and was in need of American Idol to get ONE hit single and she really hasn't been MUSICALLY relevant since then. Avril really had her first 3 albums and Complicated and Girlfriend and that's about it. So I think it's far to say that Rihanna takes the cake since she happens to have displayed the most CONSISTENT longevity and relevancy and she seems to have the most WW appeal and her latest tour did really well.

WELL.
Jennifer blasted through barriers and become the most successful Latina in entertainment, ever. She was the first Latin person ever to get paid $1 million dollars for a movie roll. She's also among some of the few artists to get a full Latin album in the Billboard 200. Many celebrities cite her as an influence (Kim K, Beyonce, Paris Hilton, etc.)
She also made it okay to have a curvy body in Hollywood (along with Marilyn Monroe and Selena). She also brought back celebrity endorsements. She built an entire empire around her (her successful film, music, fashion, perfumes, etc.)
