Blackout is pretty dark though. The songs might not be about how miserable your life is or wanting to kill yourself, but the atmosphere is dark and dirty.
It's odd I don't really have too much to say about Pop Stars because they're Pop Stars. I didn't know what I got into when I signed up here. But one popular opinion is
Hits are the end all be all for liking an artist. Why do you have to like someone more because their music charted. There's a lot of repetitive trash topping the radio. And it's like you have a few trend setting artist and the rest do their best impression of that.)

It sounds like the kind of music you'd imagine hearing in a particularly smutty Miami nightclub, but it's not ''dark''.
You'd swear she was Morrissey or something, the way some Britney fans describe that album.
Blackout is just sexy without of erotic lyrics, it's not dark
so piece of me, radar, e.t.c are dark?

And Dark Horse is urban. The trap beat is the most dominate part of the song.
Beyonce is far overrated, the GP does not care about Gaga nearly as much as her stans believe, Britney's career won't make a comeback (no matter how much I want it to), and artists with moderate success that have plateau'd for a while (Austin Mahone, Fifth Harmony, Lana, Cher Lloyd) will never become HUGE artists (again, no matter how much I want them to).
