He is NOT Turkish but Turkic as in an ethic minority group of people that live in rural parts of china. Chinese people are known to hate minority ethic groups like the Turkic.

Apparently he went to the market with his mother but lost her there and ended up at the wrong place (that's what ppl said when it first came out yrs ago)
