Welcome to Expedition Robinson: BORNEO
Expedition Robinson: Borneo is the first season of the worldwide survival series Expedition Robinson, which was first popularized in the fabulous country of Sweden. It eventually led to the development of the concept of the U.S. hit Survivor (But lets not talk about that show, Expedition Robinson is just as good). Now, the time has come for ATRL to face the brutal conditions of Borneo.
How It Works
There will be 16 one time contestants this season. This means that this is your ONLY chance to play MAKSIM Expedition Robinson unless you are picked for a spot on All-Stars. The 16 contestants will be broken down into two tribes of 8 upon arrival on the beaches of Borneo. Together, you will need to work as a tribe to complete daily immunity challenges. The participation of EVERY member of the tribe is essential. Tribal challenges will typically be allowed to last 24 hours long, but that does not mean they will last that long. The tribe that works the best together, as well as the fastest, will win immunity. The tribe that lags and does not complete the challenge in 24 hours or is slower than the other tribe, loses. If both tribes complete the challenge, then the fastest tribe will win. Further rules of immunity challenges will be explained according to the challenge. After every challenge, the losing tribe will head to tribal council. Whoever gets the most votes will be voted out. In the case of a tie, there will be a revote. This will occur until we are down to one sole Expeditioner.
Your Host
My name is Ryan (MAKSIM). I have been on ATRL for 5 years now, but have hosted several survival based competitions before (very successfully I might add). Previous games hosted include The Amazing Race, Big Brother, and Survivor on other forums (which will not be named cause idk if they are WP worthy hihi). I live on the Eastern coast of the United States, so take that as you may in terms of what hours would be best to contact me. Generally, I design unique competitions that are puzzle based and require your whole tribe to work together and submit answers. Challenges will vary and cater towards different strengths, so do not expect the same challenges that you have seen before.
