All I can say about Lindsay's new video is shock. I have friends at Universal/Casablanca Music and they let me in on the scoop. The video being directed this week is Lindsay kidnapping her ex-boyfriend into the forest and basically making him feel the pain that she has felt over the last couple of days. She is all clad in black and she might be a little freaky but the clip is all in good fun. She has a picture screen of the things that were once great now awful. She questions his character while letting out her venom. The ex-boyfriend is throughout tied up and basically afraid of his one time fling. She soon goes upstairs and keeps him in the basement tapping the walls screaming to be released. The location is from Murder by Numbers. Remember the old lake house. I know that she watches TV and her boyfriend is on the news and is a missing person. His girlfriend is basically crying for his return. Lindsay turns off the TV and goes downstairs trying to get it out of him the sorrow of his evil ways. He dosen't so she throws water in his face and locks the door. After singing out the bridge. The cops come by and she plays all coy. The ex is calling by no one can hear him. Then she goes down the last time and he break downs and feels bad that he lost her. The music cuts and he asks for her back. She then takes him in the car and drops him off in the forest with nothing on. She drives away and drives into the sunset. The clip is being directed by Marc Webb (My Chemical Romance, Hot Hot Heat videos) and he wrote the treatment by himself. He was inspired by the movie "Misery" and he knew this would make a real edgy video. I can't wait for it. It will probably premeire in February. So can't wait.
I am starting to like her more and more...which is alarming. Well not her music, but still, she's fun. I love how she is trying to be all edgy already haha.
-It looks like Lindsay is kind of worried that her new clip for "I Live for the Day" will be a little too harsh making are look like a crazy so it might be changed with both directors and concepts. All I know is the video has still not been shot and will be in two weeks so I think this will be it. I'll keep you updated though.
