Their newest album SUCKS, but hey, when in doubt rip-off a more successful song. Honestly I have no problems with rip-offs, just do it to a good song please. As a supporter of the boys in the face of ATRL's dismissal, I was really sad to see how far they've sunk this time.
Anyway, this is Style just not as good, but still cute. It's all nice and such, they made the clever choice of giving Harry
everylead vocals and thank god for that. Just wish this had a better bridge, although I can't even remember if Style has a bridge... does it?
My #1 album of 2014 was re-released this year with this and a few extras, but those aren't worth mentioning. I quite like the manic energy on this and the way it goes so soft and tender at the bridge, it really feels like an amalgamation of many different types of goddess Allah Clark. However, it still screams bonus track so I don't feel it fits on the rest of the album.
Can only imagine what literal Saint has planned for us next era, but I'm not opposed to this sound. Just a bit more... fine-tuned? It' a good blueprint though, hopefully her fans will be more grateful than they were for the last album. Strange Mercy stans be damned.
AHH poor Ari, her career ended already.
Mariah always wins.
Anyweigh, it's a shame it ended now and not on the **** she released last year. I was just getting around to liking her. ATRL's bandwagon hate consumed this one too quick, but what do you expect from the faglets on here?
It may be similar to Problem, but a) the instrumental is 1000x better, b) the chorus is also much catchier and less creepy, c) the trumpets on this one are actually cute and not Jason Derulo'd, and d) the vid is actually kinda good. However, out of the disney girls she was just not holding up this year. Well, mostly...
Contractually am obliged to include a Tinashe song on here, so there you go gurl.
Okay, but really, this isn't a patch on the best of Aquarius but it is a basic kind of bop. And if you'll remember, our first tastes of Aquarius were also basic bops, so I'm not worried about #T2. Anyway, just like an Aquarius song the rap is the worst part! Tinashe herself gives us a decent slow jam though, her delivery is the highlight here and it is important we keep the faith in this time of need.
PLUS I was not including Player on here, s0...
My girl!
Forgotten by ATRL and critics alike, kween Jazmine was so unfairly left by the wayside this year. This cut from her new album wasn't instant. The chorus is obviously great, but it wasn't until I was just casually listening one day that the bridge hit me, like wow.
Better learn from my mistakes,
because it isn't too late
for you to get up and run,
please just don't be dumb.
'Cause you have a choice:
to run after the boys
or take over the world.
Don't be a stupid girl.
Feminist icon Jazmine, scalp Beyoncé, scalp Taylor, scalp Nicki, all those hoes bald headed now. Take that on-board twinks. Is called
Reality Show for a reason
And now I beg you use your head (and listen to the album), don't be a stupid girl.
