That type of ish only happened in the 70s. I don't know why it stopped, but it did.

Looks cute, hopefully it's good and Sam Rockwell doesn't ruin it.
I wish not every American remake would have the same styling nowadays though, since it kinda kills the buzz of it a la Carrie.
I've heard of the original (only because of Steven Spielberg's name was attached to it) but never watched it. I'll watch the remake though, hopefully it's good.
but they need a little old lady psychic. She was great as a character.
