The musician insisted that he struggles to enjoy the star's music because there is no substance to "sink your teeth into".
"I don't think she lives it because it's all artifice. It's all image with no meaning behind it,"White told Esquire magazine.
"You can't sink your teeth into it. It's a sound bite. It's very of this age, because that's what people want. They want a Twitter line, a jpeg, an MP3."
People have said this time after time. It's nothing new. They just don't bother to do their research on her, and choose to focus on her image, rather than realizing that she actually writes all of her music and comes up with the concepts for everything, which is rare for a mainstream pop star nowadays.
Musically, she doesnt have a deep, meaningful record yet but that doesnt necessarily mean she is all style and no substance. Compared to all the dumb popstars of today, she is probably the least dense of them all

This. There are WAY more shallow pop stars than Gaga. At least she puts thought into what she does, and doesn't thirst for a #1 single 24/7.
