Janet Jackson gets no praise on here and thats probably because you guys are 12 year olds but in 1986 and 1989, She dominated the industry as the top female act.


Control - Janet inspired many of the male and females with this album. I don't see why people are saying she doesnt have me memorable hits when songs like 'Control' 'Nasty' 'What Have You Done For Me Lately' are iconic.

I agree she was more popular than many in the 90s (rivaling Madonna and actually outdoing her for a period).
But that was before Justin and the Super Bowl ...Queen hasn't been the same since...and I'm not sure she can ever have a comeback honestly...
