I think it's actually one of the rivalries where there's the most hybrid stans. The problem with it is stuff like this:

People who favour one (in this case Beyonce) think it's entirely coming from the other side. It's "only the navy trying to tear down Bey's accomplishments to make Rihanna look good." There's never any acknowledgement that both sides are doing this. Both sides do it. And as a stan of both artists I recognise that each side is just as guilty as the other.

The navy almost always instigates everything and then play victim when we pop off on them. In reality, Bey and Rih have very little in common so I have no idea why they continue comparing their fave to ours.

I never said they didn't. They 100% do. The difference between you and I is, that you're pointing the finger saying "the navy do this, the navy do that, it's all the navy, the navy starts it" and I'm readily admitting that it's both. The navy do it. The hive do it. You both do it. As someone who stans for both, it's annoying as ****, and it's even more annoying to watch you both point the finger at each other and say "it's entirely them." Both sides are guilty.

Yeah, the navy runs into every Beyonce thread that pops up on ATRL, but guess what? The hive run into every Rihanna thread that pops up on ATRL.
