When I first heard Lana Del Rey during the summer, I was instantly smitten. My passion grew and grew and I got my hands on every track of hers I could (there aren't that many unfortunately). I thought I found my new love, my new Gaga (whilst she got her **** together). But all that came crumbling down, when about three or four weeks ago all of ATRL turned into the biggest Lana stanbase in the world. Now whenever I see the name I want to gauge my eyes out. She has become so quickly over-exposed (every single mentioning of her from any publication gets threaded, as well as infinite polls and opinion pieces) and overrated (we haven't heard enough from her, or seen any success to be calling her Queen of the Universe). ATRL HAS RUINED LANA DEL REY FOR ME.
