the most boring song of Sophie Ellis-Bextor made it? ew
Ne-Yo: I don't like any song from him but I need to choose one and Miss Independent is not good
Radiohead: well, personally Nude is not as awesome as There There
Arcade Fire: just AWESOME!
Madonna: ewww the most overrated song
Black Eyed Peas: their worst song here, Elephunk era was the best even with their hideous Hey Mama
Sophie: disappointed with that choice, she had like other 100 songs better than If You Go, nevermind
The All American Rejects: I think I didn't choose this in my Top 4 because it's awesome and everyone chose it. It's awesome
John Mayer: After Bigger Than My Boby was not elegible and Clarity was not the choice, everything from John Mayer is just the same
Taylor Swift: awesome, just wondering how will hear with a rock remix and not her "acoustic"-kinda version
Sigur Ros: OWNS! even Radiohead and Arcade Fire
And we already know that HIPS DON'T LIE will be Shakira's option

Ne-Yo, performing Miss Independent
I liked this at first, geez, this song started to annoy so bad.
Radiohead, performing Nude
Isn't really my cup of tea.
Arcade Fire, performing No Cars Go
WOW, this is a cool song! So catchy and I just like it <3
Madonna, performing Hung Up
Classic <3 never got old!
The Black Eyed Peas, performing Boom Boom Pow
It was addictive, then it became okay. Their older stuffs are far superior.
Sophie Ellis-Bextor, performing If You Go
Never really got a chance to discover more Sophie Ellis Bextor's songs, but this one is quite good, not really an outstanding one for me.
The All-American Rejects, performing Move Along
DAMN, bitches <3 this one is hot! catchy and was really my anthem back then, I think this song made me "more into" them back then.
John Mayer, performing Gravity
Boring, don't like this.
Taylor Swift, performing Teardrops on My Guitar
Classic <3 The very first taylor Swift's song I've fallen in love with.
Sigur Ros, performing Hoppipolla
LOL, I love this song! One of the best this week! what a great find!

Miss Independent: Gets old fast, not very good.
Nude: An instant classic. A feeling (depression) turned into a song.
No Cars Go: Not really my band. I fell in love with Haiti, but that was just about it.
If You Go: Nothing special. Murder On The Dancefloor is better.
Hung Up: One of the best songs ever made, IMO. Definitely a master-piece.
Gravity: Hadn't heard anything from this dude, and I really liked it
Boom Boom Pow: They have better 1s.
Move Along: I love this one, though it's generic and ****, but it's still good.
Teardrops: Boring.
Hoppipolla: Good 1.

Ne-Yo - Great song, but "Closer" would have been a better choice.
Radiohead - Never heard of this band, but I don't like this song.
Arcade Fire - Same as above.
Madonna - Classic. Best song on the list.
Black Eyed Peas - Love this song, but they've had better.
Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Okay, I guess.
The All-American Rejects - My favorite from them.
John Mayer - Horrible. Worst on the list.
Taylor Swift - Boring. "Love Story" is better.
Sigur Ros - Don't like it.

Miss Independent - Ne-Yo.
Was a guilty pleasure of mine last year, it did get old kind of quick. The production is simple but note-worthy, he knows how to pick the right singles from his boring albums.
Nude - Radiohead.
Pretty damn good.
No Cars Go - Arcade Fire.
Love love love this song. The crescendo at the end is out of this world.
Hung Up - Madonna.
Was never enthralled by her latest stuff (except for Get Together).
Boom Boom Pow - The Black Eyed Peas.
I fail to understand the hype around this. Seriously, can this even be called a song? Unfinished, pointless and devoid of any resemblance of talent or artistry. Not to mention the beat is pretty ugly as well. 10 + weeks at number one. It all fits, i guess.
If You Go - Sophie Ellis Bextor.
The few tunes I've heard from her have all been pretty enjoyable. This one isn't any different. I might have to check out her work.
Move Along - All American Rejects.
Definitely the best from what I've heard from them... nothing extraordinary, but a nice, uplifting song.
Gravity - John Mayer.
First time I hear this. Not bad, sounds like a grower.
Teardrops On My Guitar - Taylor Swift.
First time I hear of her. Nothing special, sounds a bit generic.
Hoppipolla - Sigur Ros.
Ah, gotta love Sigur Ros. Songs like this one have this epic, grand feel to them but nobody understands what the lyrics say. Oh well, the beauty of the music (almost) makes up for it. A good reason to learn Icelandic, I guess?

Fitting - the best week so far gets no love!
Arcade Fire - No Cars Go
The best POP song in a long, long time. Truly terrfic work - geniunely stirring, and works as well outside of the context of the album it's from as it does during it!
Madonna - Hung Up
A solid entry, but one that can't help but pale in comparison to the track that played before it (and Get Together, for that matter...). Unlike others, I think this song really works was a song - even without the sample. It's also a nice blend of what made Madonna, and what makes her now - her uncanny sense for a good pop hook. I can't help but wish, though, that 1985 Madonna was singing this - the vocal needs some grit that she doesn't have anymore.
Radiohead - Nude
It's been a long time since I listened to this, and it's a lot better than I remembered. Damn, this week is shaping up to be a toughie ...
Sigur Ros - Hoppipolla
I've heard this before! At least, the instrumental backing! Really beautiful, but it goes on for a wee bit too long.
Sophie Ellis-Bextor - If You Go
Ah, ****. The best song of the week, and if you ask me on a weekday, her best song ever. (quite possibly Xenomania's best ever non-GA song too?) Everything in this song works, from her on point vocal, to the clip claps that act as percussion. I haven't really heard as many songs that deal with the tentativeness of love as well as this does - each second is hanging in the balance, and If You Go completely sells it. Wonderful stuff.
Ne-Yo - Miss Independent
I have actually never heard this song fully before, and ZShare was complicit in me never hearing it in full! The aural equivalent of dishwater - not my type of thing all, sung by someone who's voice is shockingly lacking in character, or anything that would make it interesting.
Black Eyed Peas - Boom Boom Pow
One of the only BEP songs I can stand. I love how it starts, as it's appearing out of the ether. Perfect club song - takes itself seriously, but also knows how to cut loose.
The All-American Rejects - Move Along
Man, Tyson's vocals are nigh-unbearable throughout this song, but really good background vocals almost compensate. I like what Miche said - this song's not trying to change the world, but in a week like this, it wouldn't hurt to do something more.
John Mayer - Gravity
Better than I expected.
Taylor Swift - Teardrops on My Guitar
In one word, yes. YES. Man, this week is going to be a bitch to rank.
