Michelle Obama has revealed that she loves artists such as Beyoncé, Frank Ocean and Kelly Clarkson.
The First Lady opened up about her favorite music in an interview with People, explaining that she would love to see Ocean and Clarkson triumph at Sunday's (February 10) Grammy Awards.
"Album of the Year: Channel Orange, Frank Ocean," she said. "He's a young innovative performer with a soulful sound."
"Song of the Year: 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)', Kelly Clarkson. It's an empowering song with a positive message."
Michelle also explained that she loves working out to music, saying: "'Whip My Hair' by Willow Smith always gets me moving - and it's just so inspiring how young and talented she is! I also love anything by Beyoncé - and of course 'Move Your Body' gets me going not just because it's a great song, but because of the amazing video she did to help get kids active in support of [my childhood obesity campaign] Let's Move!"
"Barack and I danced to 'Let's Stay Together' at his Inauguration, and it was such a special moment for us," she said. "We had spent all day together with our family and friends at different Inaugural events, and at the end of the day the dance was really our one-on-one moment with each other. Well, each other and everyone watching on TV!"
However, Michelle joked that she won't be showcasing her own vocal range any time soon, quipping: "Let's just say my husband is the real singer in the family."
