There are some rare great managers in retail but so many are backstabbing and only care about themselves at the end of the day.. End of rant.

My mother works in retail and one time I went to visit her because she forgot her umbrella and it was raining. So, I stood there waiting while she was attending an old lady. The old lady paid for the products she was buying, the total was like 18€, but she gave my mother a 20€ bill. Then, my mother returned 2€ to her and the old lady had the nerve to start SCREAMING that my mother was cheating, because she payed with a 500€ bill and she should have her 482€ back. I was staring at my mother like



Of course, my mother is a professional and wasn't going to ask me "hey son, is this woman telling the truth?" so she after the old bitch kept throwing a tantrum for half an hour, she asked the manager if they could see the recordings. The video showed the shady ho giving my mother 20€ and then the damn bitch had the nerve to say "that isn't real, that is not me, you are lying". I cackled.

It's people like you that cause a lot of the workers to be jaded. Shop somewhere else if you can't be nice to the workers. And walk a mile in our shoes before you go generalizing all workers like that.

My pet peeve is customers making the "It doesn't scan, it must be free". Lord, the fact that they think it's so funny. Idiots.

I'd kill for customers to give me 20s since I constantly get THOSE customers who get at least 100 in cashback almost every single time.
