She has an amazing voice but why does she seem to have so little control over her voice?

I don't understand why she doesn't just lower that last note, it's clearly not within her range

I also don't understand why she sounds fine in If/Then every night but can't seem to deliver anything else

I think people have been exaggerating about how bad the performance was.
Okay the last note was pretty awful but besides that it wasn't nearly as bad as people have been making out.
I think people are forgetting that the song is an exceedingly difficult song to sing, ontop of the fact it was enormously cold out!
I think people need to give Idina some credit.

No it was simply a horrific performance. Yes of course it's a hard song to sing, but se should be able to. It was terrible. My family was CACKLING the entire way through; we kept replaying it
