Right now, Texas State Sen. Wendy Davis (D-Fort Worth) is leading a 13-hour filibuster against draconian anti-choice legislation that would severely impede women's access to reproductive health services in the state of Texas. She has until midnight CST for the special session to end and the bill to die.
UPDATE (1:37 AM): SB5 passed at 12:01 AM, although Republicans are claiming the vote was at 11:59 PM. This vote is likely to be challenged in court. Due to the prospect of challenges, the legislation will likely not go into effect until everything is decided.
