It does have to do with race .. Cops see black as a thread, even when unarmed .. its a shame, and its disgusting.
The only times I really ever interacted with the police are when I had to ask for directions, when officers said hello to me while they were on foot patrol at night, and when I made small talk with officers while in line at Chipotle, but I will always comply with their orders if I'm ever pulled over. I agree with him there, but I can see how how black people are afraid of the police. Their fear should be understood and resolved.

If you think it's an issue of compliance you've missed the point completely.
What is this a war zone? They are patrol officers not soldiers in Iraq. We are not in a war. They should be able to take down threats without killing. They have turned Americans into enemy combatants. The militarization of the Police is wrong.
