RAM goes gold in the US
Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories holds at #2 for the second week. The album tops the 500K sales mark in just its fourth week. That’s by far the fastest that the group has reached this threshold. Random is already the 11th best-selling album of 2013; the third best-selling album that was released this year. In the latter regard, it trails only Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience (1,985,000) and Blake Shelton’s Based On A True Story… (655K).
