So there have been a lot of discussions (and arguments ) about how these 3 albums will fare in 2011. Which will sell more? How much will they sell? Which will get better reviews? Which will win more awards?
But looking past 2011, how do you think they'll be remembered 10 years from now? Or will they?
I only see 4, and maybe BTW being seen in the future. Femme Fatale is not one of Brit's best albums, so it will obviously be overshadowed by her stronger albums.
4 if it gives to Bey more grammys and BTW will be remembered as one of those album which sold over 1 milli in one week and I don't think FF will be remembered being honest
FF? It will be just another one of her albums...but certainly over looked by her past highlights and potential future highlights.
As for 4...I am not sure.
The thing about Gaga and Bey is that their respective tours will further cement their respective eras to new heights Britney isn't doing anything new with FF, which is why it will be forgotten.
Femme Fetale is a great pop diamond in my opinion. It just really underrated thanks to Britney Not promoting it just like black out but oh well. 3-top ten singles.
4- probably beyonce most personal album. i dont think any song will be remembered from it
Born this way - will be known as the Gaga's best album. Unless she can get her next album to sell even more than born this way.
I honestly think BTW will be remembered as that massively overhyped album that sold for 99 cents. The music is good, but good enough to stand the test of time... nope.
Femme Fatale, one of Britney's best albums but I think people are always going to look back to Blackout because of it's association with her 'comeback' after the breakdown.
Out of these three, 4 is the most solid in terms of music and lyrics.
Femme Fatale will be remembered as one of Britney's many "comeback" albums. Generic but successful singles. Horrid, embarrassing album sales.
Born This Way will be remembered for it's huge debut numbers. It will be remembered for the single(Born This Way) breaking all kinds of radio and digital records.
4 will be remembered for it's different sound and not so typical mainstream songs.
No one will remember Femme Fatale in 10 years, aside from Till the World Ends (it will re-peak in December 2012 and become a WW anthem. )
No one will remember "4" in 10 years, it's a good album...but forgettable. The lack of a career defining single makes it MORE forgettable when stacked against the Beyonce spectrum of Crazy In Love's/Irreplacable's/Single Ladies hits.
Born This Way will probably be the most memorable because of the 99 cent deal, it's 1.1 million sales opening, and the fact that Born This Way (the song) was shoved down everyone's throats to the point where the song will probably be a notable staple in the LGBT raves/commercials. Major sophomore albums are definitely notable. OIDIA still gets brought up today and that was 10 years ago.
Femme Fatale might not be remembered, some of its songs will tho
4 will be remmebered as her classic album. None of its songs will tho.
BTW: will be remembered as the album that was sold at 0,99 cents
