Why does it seem a lot of people on ATRL hate Happy? It has good lyrics, great production and a simple catchy melody. Is it not depressing or emo enough? Is it some how preventing your fav from slaying? Is it not artsy enough why the hate?

Because it took the #1 spot from Dark Horse and a lot of Katycats are on ATRL.

Probably cause it's not by a pop girl, and Pharrell isn't a really interesting or controversial artist to most people so it doesn't make for good conversation

I find it annoying.
It sounds dated and I can't stand the chorus 'cuz I'm happyyyyyyyyyyyyy'. Like that's not the **** I wanna hear if I feel like smacking bitches in the face. And it reminds me of Blurred Lines which I'm absolutely sick of
