Not really. It will be #6 next week. Then #5 the week after. Next week, it'll gain much more than "Breakeven," and will hop over "Telephone" and "Need You Now" since they're decreasing rapidly. Then the following week, "In My Head" could possibly fall below "Your Love Is My Drug." The week after that is a possibility of it jumping over "Rude Boy," as it falls, and maybe even "Hey, Soul Sister." "Break Your Heart" and "Nothin' on You" are real competitors, and could possibly threaten "Your Love Is My Drug" at the number one spot since "OMG" and "Alejandro" are coming up fast, too.

The panel has grown so much so that now 10,000 spins is not that big of a deal anymore. It's obviously a good mark to reach, but after Bad Romance and Tik Tok raised the bar it's less of an achievement/rarity than it once was.

The panel has been this large, even larger, before, but nothing like this has happened. No, I'm afraid this is showing that radio is overplaying too many songs at once.

Exactly, now the radio stations play the songs they have on power rotation almost 110-120 times per week! Insane!!! In the 90s, z100, for example, used to play them 60 times per week. Now they play the hell out of the songs. Some stations don't even play re-current hits at all! To40 radio for those who listen to the radio a lot feels like a torture now. The same songs all the time.

I know that the panel has been larger before, I think someone said there was 175 stations when LM crossed the 12,000 mark...I think the reason songs are being overplayed is because the music industry is far more fast paced now, and the emphasis is switching from albums to singles. The market is far more commercial than it used to be, singles are no longer released with the intention of them selling albums, they are pushed on their own merit to generate as much revenue as possible. So that's why I think songs are being played more than they used to be, because singles are more important now as opposed to what they used to be.

Well, I was actually referring to when the panel has 146 stations a few years ago. Also, I don't think radio is faced paced at all. Songs over 20 weeks old are still top 10, when not too long ago, a song 20 weeks old was maybe around the 17-22 position. That's actually the reason they changed the recurrent rule was because radio was getting slower.

Top 40 debuts tonight come from Jamie Foxx's "Winner," Mike Posner's "Cooler Than Me," Boys Like Girls' "Heart Heart Heartbreak," and JLS' "Everybody In Love."

Top 50 debuts tonight come from B.o.B's "Airplanes," David Guetta's "Gettin' Over You," Paramore's "The Only Exception," and Cartel's "The Perfect Mistake."
