Quote:
Madonna says her love of shooting ended when a dying pheasant she had shot fell at her feet.
She told Tatler: "I was mad for shooting a couple of years ago. I loved my bespoke outfits and everything.
"Then a bird dropped in front of me that I'd shot. It wasn't dead. It was really suffering. Blood was gushing out of its mouth.
"I haven't shot since. I realised that I had a kind of bloodlust and was manically shooting as many birds as possible."

If this is true then she's so stupid, I've always abhorred her contradiction of loving to hunt and pretending to be so altruistic but this just shows it even more. What did she expect, that she shoots things for fun and then they'd just miraculously get up and start frolicking around the wood like it wouldn't effect them? I know she's calls herself Madonna but if she actually believes she has that kind of effect then she needs a proper beating. Just because she can't see them suffer doesn't mean they enjoyed it as much as she did and then only when one actually dies at her feet can she see the effects of her actions. Honestly, it reminds me of when she knew **** all about fair trade and third world debt at her age and hence chose a holiday over the live 8 cause before she learned about it. She's too obsessed with competition and it's obvious here, if you can't see that parading around with a massive advantage over prey makes you pathetic, egotisitical, weak and doesn't constitute a sport in which there's real challenge or fairness then you are pretty thick already - but I really can't stand people who can't see beyond themselves and their own, who only see things when it effects them and don't care or take close minded stances when it's other people/things; and then turn around and try to say oh well I learned from my mistake, no harm done really and from now on I'll change, without any real remorse or comprehension for what's happened because they themselves can't feel it. It was really suffering? DUH - what did you expect?
