Britney vs Beyonce: Who will leave a bigger legacy?
So who will leave the biggest legacy?
And no i am not talking about songs or albums which will be remembered in 10 years. I'm talking about real achievements which really set you apart from the rest. Not just a ''popularity contest''.
Be it their influence on a wave of young musicians who grew up listening to their music and being INSPIRED by them listing them as a hero, truly showing everyone what a comeback is, singing for the president, to really respected awards from critical acclaim and respect.
I feel like both of them are the best comparisons since both of them are the same stage of their career now.
This. I think Britney already left too much legacy for Beyonce to catch up... not to mention she isn't even stopping yet.
But what is it? I'm not saying she has not left one...that would be really stupid. But i feel as if hers is more confined to music and pop culture. Whereas Beyonce branches across to politics and movies etc. I feel as if she is more respected in the industry e.g her grammys. Tbh i think its pretty close just depends where you are coming from...
britneys has had a monster peak, and monster lows.
which contribute to a longer, stronger legacy.

They will both leave a legacy, but in different fields. Music wise, Britney in pop and Beyonce in r&b.
But celebrity will be hard, you see Britney will reprsent the highest of the high and the lowest of the low when being a celebrity, she's the comeback kid.
While Beyonce will represent the work ethic and remaining grounded and poised.
They all represent different things, eithier way. They are the cream of the crop in pop culture, and their legacy will represent that.
Well i do believe popularity to some degree has something to do with legacy
but i would say Britney because she represents the life of a pop star from her meltdown to her music, she is the 'P.O.P' of this generation and shows the controversial issues of showbiz.
Beyoncé's legacy represents the hybrid/fusion of Pop with R&B music in this generation, from crossing over to different radio formats and just generally being a hardworking performer that stands as one of the best vocalists in pop music since the 2000's. I think the GP will remember how private and classy she is and how she continues to open doors for future generations just like Diana Ross did in her time.
