They combined the revenue from DOWNLOADS, STREAMING, RINGTONES, and BGM (background music) into digital aggregate. Each digital aggregate is worth about 3.33 won or around $0.003 USD. (3 digital aggregate = 10 won).
It's a unique way of ranking songs. The most popular song in a given week is the song that make the most money.

So in term of subscription music, South Korea is way ahead of the rest of the world. It is also very inexpensive too. Instead of the $10/10euro/10 pounds a month, it's around 4,000 won in South Korea or around $3.7 a month.
