I highly recommend not watching this because it's very disturbing, but this was the most scared/haunted I've EVER been by a film. The whole film is very atmospheric and for a brief synopsis, this man's wife died and his friend, a director, set up a fake audition. He meets the perfect woman and it follows that cliche where she disappears and he has to find where she went.
This scene scared the **** out of me back in the day.
Watching it again, it's extremely ridiculous and laughable. Joaquin Phoenix has definitely come a long way, his acting is terrible. "Move children, VÁMONOS!" The brazilian kid randomly shouting "it's behind!"
