1) The Iggy collab was desperate and too dated. Pretty Girls just sounded like a Fancy 2.0 and it was clear she wasn't that interested from how Iggy explained the story of how they recorded it, heard nothing and then they suddenly said they wanted it as a single.
2) I'm sure G-Eazy was the label's decision, not Britney's. The rest of what you said is also just the labels decisions and strategy.
I do love how many promo performances she did though and especially agreeing to do the VMAs.
