Are people hating on the USA ignorant?
I'm in Milwaukee, WI right now and I'm shocked at how nice Americans are They are even nicer and friendlier than Canadians, the customs were way faster and nicer, the people are friendlier ans start random chit chat with me, they seem interested in me. Food is amazing, I mean I'm slayed
I say to everyone (especially Europeans) who hate on the USA, try it and you'll be really surprised

They hate the country based on stereotypes from biased people.
This hate is most strong with Europeans who happen to have an arrogant perception of the world.

Yeah, because they judge 300M+ people based on stereotypes that are either exaggerated or don't go for everyone. Not to mention the country is huge and each region is filled with different cultures and types of people.
But at times, they do have a valid reason to drag
But I'm glad you had a good experience MaRy

There are good and bad people everywhere. Anyone who stereotypes is a silly goose.

Listen Dahling, Americans hardly ever think or care about Country: other. I mean, we simply don't have the time.
We have our issues, yes. But at the end of the day, we are known by standing together and blazing paths.
It's a blessing and a privilege to be born here, and that's that. It wasn't since I joined this forum, that I realized the pressedtivity of a lot of countries in Europe. It's sad, but like most Americans, I had no idea dahling, nor did I really care.
Enjoy your stay. Come again. Once.

The reason why it's hated because it's really exposed in every country.

Yes. If you're seriously going to sit here and judge 300 million + people based mainly on stereotypes that you learned from tv and the internet that purposely glorifies the negatives then you are incredibly ignorant. And it's even funnier when these people have never even been to the US yet they still feel qualified to sit here and judge and act like we're the worst place in the world. Besides, the US is so diverse, one state is not exactly like the other, unless you go to every single state you can't have a real perception on how the entire country is. New York is not like Alabama. Nevada is not like Hawaii. Illinois is not like Alaska. etc.

yes very ignorant to see those type of posts but usually most of them are from actual Americans who bend over for the rest of the world and for some reason think its cool to hate America when its one of the cheapest countries to live in with one of the highest standards of living

Yes. Ever since I've been in college and met students from all over the world, all of them have said they are enjoying their stay here. Yes the US deserves to get called out on some certain topics but some of the stereotypes against us aren't fair. If you visited every single state, I guarantee you'd have a different experience with each one.

I think the US is a good country, it has people and people, just like everywhere else. Some are good, some are bad, but that happens everywhere. Either way, despite the US being the land of opportunities, i think its better for me that im born in my country, because i have a feeling that pursuing my dream will be much easier from here than if i was in the US

Whatever, I love the USA. Judging a whole country is stupid anyway. But yeah, some people in Europe feel that the USA are way to involved in every war. Well, at least that's what I read on yahoo news but yahoo user are something else anyway
