Artist To Watch In 07'.

The first artist is... Ciara.First she started off coming with "Get Up" from the step up soundtrack. If that was the only song she would have realeased she wouldn't have been an on the watch artist. But then it happened. "Ciara: The Evolution" with that album the first
single "Promise" made good impression on me and alot of other people. It got Ciara her biggest first week sales more than 338,000 copys in first week. The album debuted @ #1 on the Billboard 200 over heavy hitters like Eminem and Gwen Stefani , plus the album is already gold. After the 2nd week she dropped to #11 (only because the holiday madness) but still sold 165,000 copys taking her to 503,000 overall. Yeah C's definitly gonna do it big in O7'.

Artist To Watch In 07'.

The Next Artist is Danity Kane. They first hit the scene with the Mtv Tv Series "Making The Band 3". Now Diddy is known for making flops with this televison show but I really think diffrent with Danity Kane seeing that they atcually made a hit. In fall 2006 they released their first single "Show Stopper" which debut @ #17 on the Billboard Hot 100 and went top 10 the following week. The also released thier debut album which sold 90,000 in it's first day, going on to sell over 290,000 in first week. With a platnium album and top 10 single they definaitly show that they will be all over 2007.

Sean Paul was definatly a top artist of 2006. He got a #1 single early in the year with "Temperature" and later came back with the "Step Up Soundtack" and made another Top 3 single "When You Gonna (Give It Up To Me)".

Well he's the biggest rap artist of 2006 by far. His album debuted @ #1 selling a half a million copies. "KING" also spit out a top 10 single and two top 40 singles. He's nominated for some grammys and already has won nomerous awards.

The last artist is Jay-Z. He really ended the year with a bang. It seemed like the first single "Show Me What You Got" came out of nowhere. It made a high debuted onto the R&B Charts @ #20 and eventually peaked at #3. It also peaked @ #8 on the Hot 100. Jay's Album "Kingdome Come" debuted @ #1 on the Billboard 200 selling more than 700,000 copys in first week making it the Top Selling Album of 2006.

Man, PCD really was one of the Top Groups In 07'. It seemed like there singles never left the billboard charts.They have already realeased 5 singles from the album "PCD" and all of them went Top 40. 3 of them went Top 10. And 4 of them went Top 20.
