Producer auditions are complete in 4 of the 5 audition cities. The most recent auditions were held in Greensboro, North Carolina two days ago.


With exactly 3 weeks left until the first taping with the judges, an announcement should arrive any day now.

So in 3 weeks is judges taping, thank god, then we will see if Britney is there.

Excited I really want the groups category to be better this year, felt sorry for Paula last year that they all went so early!

1st auditions are untelevised producer auditions, second auditions are judges auditions

She hasn't been officially confirmed by Fox yet.
Sometime during September. The official date hasn't been announced yet.
I hope so. This year they're allowing people with managers and agents to audition so hopefully that will lead to more polished contestants.
If it's true, I think this will happen:
Simon: Groups - he's definitely getting this category because he wants it and as the executive producer he could do whatever he wants
Britney: Boys
Demi: Girls - It's weird thinking that Demi could possibly mentor someone as old as 29 years old.
LA Reid: Overs

Simon : Boys
La Raid : Over 30
Demi : Group
Britney : Girls

There seems to be little talk about the hosts this season. I wonder if they'll be announced at today's upfronts as well.

Excited to go to the live audience round next month.
