The pink-haired server was closing out one of her tables at the hip restaurant on Tuesday night when she released the customer had left no tip and a note on the receipt reading: 'Tips are only for normal-looking people.'
'At first, I felt really upset, I felt attacked, I almost felt like I was back in middle school all over again, like being bullied,' Beeck told Pix 11.

Beck chose not to publicly reveal the name of the patron, and she also decided against confronting them over the bill, which was totaled $17.26.
A 20 percent tip would have been about $3.40.
'I didn't act on it because it's not worth it when someone puts hate out there, you know to respond in a hateful way will do no good,' Beeck said.
However Beeck said the reality of the situation is that tips is how service people earn their keep, and that her appearance does not impact her ability to do the job.

What the **** is even wrong with the way she looks? I've seen people who don't look normal and she's not among them. The dude who wrote that is probably super conservative or something.
I'm sorry, but as a Des Moines resident who LOVES that place and understands that every server there intentionally looks "different" because it's the ****ing theme of the place, I'm outraged at this.
I have half a mind to find the ****er and punch him or her in the face. Let me go there tomorrow and get her as a server and tip the hell out of that bill.
Also, if you haven't been to Zombie Burger, please don't pretend to know what a server there should look like.
A "she was wearing barely anything so she was asking to be raped" tea.
Good to know you're like that, Duke.
What even?

So servers at Zombie Burger are often unconventional looking?
