I really miss her Destiny's Child / Dangerously in Love / B'Day / I Am... Sasha Fierce / 4 era.

She was everywhere. She did interviews. She cared about singles. Her ego -- despite the song -- wasn't insufferable. I miss old Bey. Not everyone kiss-assed and overrated her every song, every album, every move.

Factually and statistically, DIL, B'Day and IASF were way bigger eras than 4, BEYONCÉ and Lemonade.

So no, Beyoncé isn't as big as she used to be as far as the music goes, she just has a more aggressive publicity machine now.

I miss when she wasn't so over exposed, when she was more of an artist/less fixated on her celeb status and when the media didn't force her on us 24/7.

Yes i do. But beyonce was bigger then. Her songs charted really well and her albums sold well too. So i miss "successful" Beyonce more than I miss this Beyonce.

honestly she was more of a "product" in those eras, when her team had quite a bit of control over her and forced her to do certain types of music, interviews, promotion etc
if anything i'd say this is the more real bey who does what she wants when she wants it

Beyonce is BIGGER than she has ever been musically, yeah her charts stats doesn't compete with those eras. But '4', 'Beyonce' & 'Lemonade'. are the eras people started taking her serious as an ARTIST not a Celeb. The media can't FORCE you to do anything, you can always turn the other cheek.

She was bigger up through IASF though Maybe she's bigger now in the sense of "omggg Beyoncé her POWER, changed the game with that digital drop," but in terms of charts and sales...


Anyways, her music post-IASF is way way better, so I'll take the "new" Beyoncé any day.

You ran and no, touring is the most important part of the industry and the Formation tour bodies all those eras or any other female artist sans Madonna, so Factually and statistically she is bigger now.

I much prefer her now. She's cast aside overexposure for mysticism and protecting her brand. I like that.

There's certain artists who chase after their primes and the charts, and it's honestly so sad to see (we all know who they are). I'm so glad Bey has taken a different path and has made a point to prove you don't need to the charts for success. In fact, she's the biggest touring artist in the world and she hasn't had a number 1 in I don't know how long.

No one in the industry puts as much work and effort into their albums, bar none. You can see the attention to detail in the Lemonade visual. It's just incredible when you think about it. People tend to appreciate the fact that she makes albums and doesn't chase after the charts, it's refreshing and has only given her more creative freedom and longevity.

Her music is 100 times better now so not really.

Not when her overexposure after IA...SF forced her to take a year off. That's overexposure. She was literally everywhere, to the point she got sick from exhaustion.
