So how many screw over times are there? I'm talking about the times where there would be at least 3 videos screwed over it's retirement in a row. We just recently had one and there are 2 from the past that everybody should know about.

February - April 2006 : Avenged Sevenfold, Ashlee Simpson, and Ne-Yo get screwed over

October 2006 : Evanescence, Beyonce, and Jojo get screwed over all in one month

July - August 2007 : Rihanna, Lil' Mama, and MCR get screwed over and maybe Shop Boyz later on

Were there any other times? Because this is messed up.

i hate that EVAN, Bee, and JOjo to not retire all of the reach 30+ DAMN!!

^it's because people don't stick with that song to the end. BANDWAGONERS, I tell you. When a new song comes out they'll immediately jump ship off the 30+ song and vote for the new one (ala Evanescence being screwed over by Justin - ML which then retired....)

It's pretty hard to believe there are thousands of voters that have no common sense.

Don't forget about Like Toy Soldiers... 25 days at #1, 46 days on the top 10, and replaced by Mockingbird, that also didn't retire.

The TRL voters can be fickle alot.just like mike pointed out cmwys fell off for my love which retired on trl.the trl voters are not very smart sometimes when a video close to retirement.they vote for another song which probably won't retire.ala rihannas "umbrella" was at 38 days but they voted for "shut up & drive" instead which flopped on trl so far.only 11 days on trl.

TLTL That was seriously the BEST song of 2006. It deserved #1 on the Hot 100, let alone TRL. It had the strangest TRL run ever though... it was on and off again so many times.

This will take awhile, so I'm not even gonna begin.

being out so many time and even managed to retire!! their only ret. video!! but atleast its had a great run!

Here's the deal on Hanson: they had a HUGE online fanclub that were most likely the first to discover how MTV.com and temporary internet files work. They had a simple, laid-out strategy for deleting cookies and voting, and repeating, and repeating...I think there was some other way that kept the cookies from being stored on your computer, so you didn't have to keep deleting them over and over. Hanson fans saw how "If Only" wasn't doing well, so their official Yahoo! group got together and brought up the votes to #5, #3, then #1...eventually 27 times and being retired.

P.O.D. fans started doing this several weeks after, and you can check the stats for "Rock the Party" to see how it did. I'll get into how that video was screwed over with several others later.

^ i remember that Hanson had a fanclub & that's why they retired but till this day i'm still pissed that P.O.D got screwed not once but twice 1st with Rock the party & then Alive. Alive would have been retired if it wasn't for 9/11
