I've seen some people here saying that Katy has peaked. I personally don't believe it, you just can feel that the hype for her next lead single will be enormous and that she has so much more to offer. But what do you all think?
Her lead single will be big i believe, perhaps even her biggest. i Don't have hopes for everything else after that though, I don't think we will ever see TD era success again
Generally, I'd say so. I mean the lead single from her new album will most likely be massive and could be her biggest hit, but I really don't think she'll reach the success she achieved in the TD era.
That's not to say she won't be successful at all, though. She'll still be one of the biggest artists on the planet.
Katy knows that she won't be able to beat the success Teenage Dream had and she's said on multiple occasions that she isn't going to try and repeat it, and this time take her music into the direction she actually wants to take. So yes, she probably has peaked, but that doesn't mean her next album won't be successful.

She's far from peaking. While ATRL will love to say that Katy will flop, she has minimal success coming, etc., they'll be biting their tongues when her new single comes out and she has a very successful next era.

I can't say if the TD era will be her biggest peak but rest assured, her next era won't be as successful, in my opinion. She is going to have a Rated R/Born This Way era.
She won't have the success like TD. It's inevitable that artists peak..some peaking far too early. This musical climate nowadays are so focused on the now and not thinking about making classic music. It's all over the place. I'm sure she knows that she can't come out with something like TD. Although I don't care either way.
Peaking means the next place to go is down. Unless she can allot greater success with her next album, TD will be named her peak (thus far). So I would say yes, she has peaked, because it would be hard to replicate such stellar success.
